The yurt is located on Nicol Island
How do you get to the yurt?
The yurt is accessible by a causeway between Rossport and Nicol Island, ON
Is the yurt all season?
Yes, the yurt is heated with a propane stove
Are pets allowed?
No, due to severe allergies
Does the yurt have running water?
No. 5 gallon jugs are provided for cooking and cleaning purposes. You will need to bring your own drinking water
Is there a shower at the yurt?
Yes, the shower is located in the sauna and is fed by an overhead tank
Is there a washroom?
There is a compost toilet and sink located in a separate building that also houses the sauna
How is the sauna heated?
The sauna has an electric heater
Is there a firepit?
Yes, firewood is provided
Is there a BBQ?
Yes, there is a BBQ and propane tank available for use
What time is check/in check/out?
You are welcome to arrive anytime after 3 pm and checkout is at noon
Where can I swim?
There is a very nice, sand beach, located a short distance from the yurt in the Village of Rossport
Is there wifi?
Yes
Is there a TV?
Yes! There is a smart TV in the yurt
